H.A.P.P. Project

H.A.P.P. Project mini-album is a side project which Gabriel wasn’t planning to release under the Windpearl band initially. But ultimately it made more sense to release this mini-album as part of Windpearl discography. It was released on March 27, 2018.

The album makes you travel through the ages and is divided in four parts, each standing for an Eon:

  • Hadean: Music of the beginning of planet Earth, inspired by the Hadean eon. When there was no life yet, just a glowing and burning ball around the sun about 4.6 billion years ago. Desolated landscapes, impacts and strong winds.
  • Archean: Inspired by the Archean eon. The Earth cooled down, the landscapes were made of huge volcanoes, naked rocks, steam, acid rains, and electric storms. Formation of the oceans. Life begins its journey.
  • Proterozoic: Inspired by the third eon of the Earth, the Proterozoic eon, where early life experiments various forms. Animalia and Plantae clades are already thriving.
  • Phanerozoic: Inspired by the Phanerozoic eon of the Earth. The explosion of life, fishes and more complex out-of-water life forms. It started around 541 million years ago, and still continues today.
